Review: Curva Artisan Double Wall Glasses | Jenngem

Life has been so crazy this past year. The husband and I had to find a new place to live, which was no small feat, let me tell you. To find an apartment within our budget range that had everything we wanted, was rather tough. But we managed to do it. So by October, we were packing up everything from our old place and moving it all into our new home. But that also meant downsizing a little bit. Moving everything from a three bedroom house into a two bedroom apartment was certainly a trip.

We started with the kitchen, though. That seemed to be where we had the most clutter. I really never realized how many items we had in our cupboards and cabinets that we barely used. It was crazy! We had at least three dozen plastic tumbler glasses, and I know for a fact that we barely used them. For the most part, we would use plastic cups. But, I started to feel pretty wasteful after awhile. Long story short, though, we ended up tossing out almost all of our plastic cups. I mean, those things hold onto stink, too. Has anyone else noticed that? It's nasty. But now we needed something to replace those. But I didn't want anything breakable, because, well, I have a toddler. That, and I am certainly not the most graceful person. But, I digress.

I'm not going to lie, when I first learned about Ozeri's Curva Artisan Double Wall glasses, I was kind of skeptical. Glasses, do I really want glass around my toddler, and my ever slippery butter fingers? Is it really a good idea? But then I looked into them a bit more, and learned that they are virtually unbreakable, and are made with durable borosilicate glass, making them shatter proof. I was hooked once I learned that.

It was great, I could actually own glasses that I would be proud to serve drinks to my guests in, as well as use them for everyday use. But the best part, to me, is that these glasses can hold both hot and cold drinks! So, you want a cup of hot cocoa? Grab one of these! It'll keep your beverage nice and hot, and not burn your fingers! Want a chilled soda? You won't get that icky condensation that forms on regular glasses, and you won't freeze your fingers off! Neat, right?

I'm legitimately excited to have company over for dinner these days, just so I can serve them drinks in these gorgeous glasses. They are totally handmade, and just look at that picture above, there are four unique designs, which also makes it super easy for guests to identify which drink is theirs. No more of that Sharpie-on-a-Solo-cup junk! I do use these in everyday life, too. If Syrus wants a glass of milk or juice, I don't hesitate to give him his beverage of choice in one of these glasses. He can hold on to them, they aren't slippery, and if it happens to be that he does drop it, they won't shatter. I know this for a fact, I'm horribly clumsy and already dropped one. The good news is, it's still in one piece! Plus, should anything happen, Ozeri offers a one-year warranty!

All in all, I am very pleased with these beautiful glasses, and I will be proud to serve drinks to guests in them for many years to come. If you would like to learn more or purchase a set of your own, you can visit Ozeri's Amazon page by clicking here.
