Have you ever ordered a beer and taken just one sip and immediately found that it was not what you were expecting? Some mass-produced beers are just like that. They just taste like they do not have that special something about them. With craft beer, you can tell that the brewers have put their blood, sweat, and tears (not literally), and their heart and soul into creating the perfect craft brew for you to kick back, relax with, and enjoy.

Melvin Brewing, straight out of Wyoming is a company that takes heart when it comes to making their specialized craft beer. Their beer has won quite a few awards! Below are some of their popular beers! If you are looking to find if you can find their beer in your area, check out the BeerFinder2000™

2X4 Double IPA

This Double India Pale Ale has won eight awards alone. With awards from the Australia International Beer Awards to the Gold Medal at the Great American Beer Festival. They use various hops such as Simcoe, Citra, Columbus, and Centennial. Those are layered over an extremely light base over flavors of citrus, pine, and tropical fruit.

Killer Bees Blonde Ale

This is a super-smooth ale that is great for those moments that you just want to kick back and relax. Even though it does not have a high alcohol content, the flavor makes up for it. A delicious tasting honey drink. It makes a great drink to take with you up to your lake house, at the cabin or any place else that you like to just kickback.

Heyzeus Mexican Style Lager

This Mexican Style Lager is lightly hopped with Zeus and Liberty, and brewed with flaked corn, you will enjoy its clean and delicious taste. If you are ready to have a fiesta, then this is the lager that you want to bring to the party!

Meet Melvin

Melvin Brewing all started in the back of a Thai restaurant all the way back in 2009. Owner Jeremy Tofte began using a 20-gallon brew system, which quite quickly turned into a 3-barrel system. They created the original Melvin IPA, their 2X4 Double IPA, and Ch-Ch-Ch-Cherry Bomb alongside Asian street food. And it was a huge hit.

They went on to win Small Brewpub of The Year at the 2015 Great American Beer Festival. After that, they went on to open up a 30-barrel production facility in Wyoming and won Brewing Group of The Year at 2017's Great American Beer Festival. The rest, as they say, is history. They currently have two brewpubs in Wyoming and one in Montana.
